I made this little colorful bird for swap game at swap-bot.com. I don't know why it turned into such a colorful critter, it just wanted to be same! The bird has wired feet so it can stand along very stable! Hope you like it!

Crocheted Choco cat

When I showed my felted Choco cat at any different places at Internet, some people asked me if I plan to make a crocheted Choco cat. I said yes!
so, please, meet crocheted Choco cat. My original design. Whiskers I made from black stretch thread which I usually use for beaded bracelets. Hands are thread jointed and can move.

I made this sweet felt cat for challenge/swap game Teeny Tiny Stuffie #2 - Four Legged at swapbot. I choose one of the favorite characters from the profile of my partner on my taste, and it was really easy as I myself adore cats.
Choco cat is about 6cm tall sewn from felt (not needlefelted)from my own pattern, filled with fiberfill. Legs and hands are thread jointed and can easy move. Choco cat can stand and sit easy by himself.

The second animal I want to show is Christmas Kitty which I finished a few days ago. He's small, cute and very lovely critter. He brought lot of gifts for friends and beloveds ones.

Besides of crocheted animals and figurines I create embroidered dolls and toys. I decided that I can show them up here as well. For the begin I want to show my two new double sided embroidered toys.

Every year I try to make at least one animal - the sign of the next coming year. According to Chinese Calendar 2011 will be the Year of Rabbit. But according to the Japanese Calendar next, 2011, year will be the Year of Cat. So... I decided to make two animals.

Mamegoma - the little amigurumi seal

I made this cute seal for swapbot swap game. I found that Mamegoma is one of favorite personaje of my partner, so I descided to try my best in felt stuffie.
Mamegoma is fully sewn, filled with fiberfill, it has embroidered features. The size is less then 5cm

This cute tiny tiger I made for special occasion for lottery which I made in my blogs. The winner lives in Russia, so the sweetie wet to live to Russia.
Tiger made from white yarn with sparkles, head is thread jointed. I put in legs and hands wire, so tiger can dance and pose. Very cute and funny friend!

I was thinking about making penguin a while ago, then skip the idea and now I returned to it when I decided to take a part in Christmas toy exchange game. It's still by his way to new owner, but I decided to show the little sweety already. So, meet the tiny penguin!

They're my new critters. I do really love to make them both. But say the truth the smallest was exciting for a bit more. They both live now at faraway Russian small town near Moscow. The bunny girl's name is Masya.

Masya's legs thread jointed for free moving, so she could sit and stay alone. Her Head is also thread jointed.

I put into the hands wiring so Masya can hold her toy.

She's standing for a while

And she even has a sweet small tail!

Here we up it and hold again!

I forget to make a picture in my hand as I use to do usually, so I use the picture made by her new owner, who holds Masya in her hand.

Mini sweaters

I do really affected by mini stuff. Last December I was infected by mini-stocking, mini-sweater virus, so I made a few really mini samples. This sock was the first mini cutie I made in December, 2008

Then I found another one piece - mini sweaters, so I couldn't stop then. So my fist mini sweater was made

This year my friend asked me to translate a couple how-to for other mini sweaters. During translation I found myself interest pattern which was never tried before and even never heard about it. So I was extremely interest to try it. Here is the result. It's really sweet result and I like it very much!

And to add some more about my passion to all mini, I want to tell you that after I made my first mini sweater one of my friends advised me to create a small dwarf which could suit for the size. I wasn't sleep that night. And in the morning I decided to do it! Here is the mini dwarf in his mini sweater. I made for him mini socks and hat as well.

This time I created owl. It was one more challenge for me, as from the begin I can't imagine where and how to begin! Every time I have show the process to my husband, he skeptically grinned and asked - and where is... So I have to add more and more details. He left to work, but when he back I proudly showed him the result. Do you know what he did then? He took her on his hand and made her fly! Isnt' it the best compliments?

Little Giraffe born

Have you ever try to create a giraffe? If so, you know that it's not so easy, because it has some special details which consider it as real giraffe. One of my friend ask me to crochet for her giraffe a while ago. I do love challenges so I agreed and begin to think how to do it? After a few months I decided that the time is now. So, please, meet the Little Giraffe. He still hasn't the name as I decided this time that his future owner have to name him. So, just a Giraffe for a while.
I crocheted him from 3 colors of cotton thread, then painted spots with acrylic.

Spring Swap puppy Leonardo

This year I decided to take part in Spring Challenge at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/threadanimals/threadanimals .yahoo.com/group/threadanimals/threadanimals · Bears and Animals from Thread and Fibers at yahoo groups. I missed the signing date and asking if I can to join anywhay. In answer I have got two letter from two sweet persons which kindly agreed to become my swap partners apart of the general challenge. I created fluffy puppy for the first one - my sweet neighbor Heather. His name is Leonardo and he holds beautiful spring flower - tulip for Heather. He's 7cm tall and 9 cm long. Hope you like him!

Hello to everyone!

My name is Antonina, I'm a big fan of mini and micro objects creation. I use to create mini thread animals of all sorts. Some of them might be not really small, as time from time I use to normal make toy size animals or dolls for my daughter or just for fun. Each of my work is unique as I like challenges in materials and forms. You can see some of my critters in my Blog. Hope you'll like them.
I live in Canada, but originally I'm from Ukraine (ex-USSR, so my native language is Russian).
